 What to Pack...
No matter what time of year it is you have to remember that the weather can change frequently and surprise you! The important thing to remember when traveling to high altitudes is LAYERS! While it might be nice in the afternoon, you'll still need a sweater in the morning and evening. Keep that in mind when you start filling the suitcase.

 Transportation
Late Spring to Early Fall Weather permitting, you should be able to travel the 4.4 mile road off of Foresthill Road to get to the Lodge. To help ensure privacy we ask all guests to call for specific directions to the lodge.
Foresthill Road is paved and the road to the cabin is groomed to be safe for all vehicle types

Late Fall to Early Spring When the snow is high we recommend parking your vehicle at Foresthill Joe's Cafe on Foresthill Road. We transfer you from town to our SnowCat and then to the lodge. Your vehicle is safe at this location.
4 Wheel Drive Vehicles should be able to traverse the roads well but we always suggest calling to check on conditions
